Educating Charlie-Friday October 1st. 2010.

Lloyd Lee, an Old Ashburnian at school late 50's, presents his one man show at the school on Friday 1st Octonber. He performed the show, based on the life and charactors of Charles Dickens, at the Derby Guildhall Theatre in 2008. Several Old Ashburnians saw the show and were very impressed by the performance which is humerous and informative. The performance in October will begin with a supper buffet starting at 7.15pm prompt. Tickets, which include the supper, are £12 each and can be obtained from the secretary or other committee members. It is hoped that some people may enter into the spirit of the occasion and dress in appropriate costumes of the Dickens period. Links to LLoyds own web site can be found on the article in NEWS -Old Ashburnian turns actor.
